- My name is Leah McCormack and I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City with my Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications in May 2013 and my Associate of Applied Science degree in Fashion Merchandising Management in May 2011. I also minored in English. I am a New Englander who grew up going thrift and antique shopping. My family shaped my personality and love of styling, as well as gave me the eye for a good find, whether it be for home furnishings or clothing apparel. I grew up putting my two sense in when it came to redesigning homes and condos. I have also been passionate for and practiced many forms of dance (tap, jazz, ballet, en pointe, modern, lyrical, and hip hop) for 14 years. I moved to Manhattan at age 18 and studied abroad during Spring 2012 at the Italian International Institute-Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy. I was beyond thrilled to land a dream senior internship at one of the world's leading companies in trend forecasting, WGSN, in the Flatiron District of Manhattan.
