In front of The Capitol I found this fun outfit of european styling...coral colored pink skinny pants with a common light spring pink that I saw a lot around the d.c. area today...with a different toned pink scarf and mittens..the light pink with a touch of coral.

Camel Toned jackets, winter and raincoats are the things I saw most of in D.C. and even New York City...its the new muse, along with flats

This is a perfect example of the upcoming trends for Spring 2012. They include earth tones, which includes anything from vivid and loud colors to neutral once again. This piece spoke to me because I am a huge fan of loud and large jewelry. Especially ones that incorporate coral and turquoise, like this one seems to do perfectly. I love the way this does not look tacky, but completely natural and somehow organic. It looks like it could have come right out of the ocean. I don't ordinarily care for gold, but the coils of gold compliment the piece well. It is just the right length of a choker, but long enough. It would suit a long plain-toned bohemian dress well.
