Lets keep up with the lace shall we!? As well as the mod bangs trend I first blogged about quite some time ago, a high bun on top of your head is becoming the style to sport. Not to mention, it's pretty practical and easy for any woman to maintain a chic look, while keeping the hair out of your face all day.

Lu Helpful Hints:
  • Jessica Simpson Clip-In Mod Bangs come in a wide array of shades to match any hair tone.
  • Buy at any drug store or even a dollar store hair elastics in your shade to blend in with the high bun, I like the extra skinny blonde elastics and blonde bobby pins.
  • Neutral Lipstick shades-in the winter I love a brown hue.
  • My Go-To accessories-silver and diamond droplet earrings matched with my recycled silverware spoon ring and Irish Claddagh ring from Thomas Dillon Jewelers (original makers of the Claddagh) in Galway, Ireland.
One inspiration pic of Beyonce practicing for the 2013 SuperBowl Halftime Show in dressed down street style and I was hooked on flat brimmed hats. Had to rep Boston though of coarse : ) However, I soon found out that it wasn't just B who knew what was up, but many other women too at NY Fashion Week were rocking a grunge feel with everything from flat brimmed to baseball hats!

Lu Helpful Hints:

  • A great place to find a myriad of selections of these jems is Lids hat store, you can even customize with stitching if you want for just $15 additional cost.
